Oct 2018 Lanfear Visit and Halloween

Oct 2018
Our dahlias this year are so beautiful!

Ran into this badboy one morning during a run home from Burn. Yikes, they are a little scary when you come up on them unexpectedly in the dark in a tight space.

Thomas Worthington Homecoming Parade came through our neighborhood this year!

Apple picking at CherryHawk Orchard.

More fall fun at Leeds Farm.

One of Elena's favorite activities. Cooking baking.

Farmer's marketing with the Lanfears!

Playing with our folk music friends.

Here comes the cousin train.

Bike rack or play equipment?

Indian Run Park and waterfalls in Dublin.

All smiles.

Pumpkin decorating.

Swim time before the long drive home.

Enjoying my daily lunch walk at Kenyon College on this sunny day!

More autumn scenes of Kenyon.

I love fall.

Our little witch at Primrose Halloween trunk or treat, which got moved indoors due to rain.

Dressing up like mommy.

Another rainy day...Highbanks Metropark fall fest hayride (complete with umbrella).

Straw bale maze. Thanks goodness for the big bonfire to warm us up afterward.

Bye bye dahlias, see you next year.

Our 'scary' Halloween costumes this year.

Elena and her friends getting ready for trick or treating. Thank you rain for stopping for about 20 minutes so we didn't get completely soaked.

Our fog machines in full effect!

Our jack o lanterns.

Our family that has passed before us.

We added our ancestor's picture to the ofrenda at The Columbus Museum of Art's El Dia de los Muertos event.

We had a great time making crafts, listening to music, and honoring our family.
