While Jarrad and Ryan golfed, Monica and I did a little driving tour de Door County. One of our first stops was Anderson's dock in Ephraim.
Cider Tasting in Ellison Bay, YUM!
Eagle Bluff Lighthouse within Peninsula State Park.
Oh! Is that the sun I see peaking?
View from Eagle Tower looking north 250 feet above Green Bay.
Eagle Tower was originally built in 1914, rebuilt in the 1930's and stands 75 feet tall. It was chilly and windy at the top! Brrr!
Another brief view of that lovely sun setting at Sunset Point in Fish Creek.
Goodnight sun.
Traditional fish boil at White Gull Inn in Fish Creek.
Now that's a fire!
Taking out the potatoes and whitefish, but Ryan asks, where are the onions?
I skipped some football watching at the house for a hike on a new trail and found this spiky guy up in a tree. A porcupine.
Fall wildflower.
Some cool-looking organism growing on a downed tree. After about 30 minutes I gave up because it kept raining harder and my feet were soaked. Back indoors to warm up and dry off :)
Oh hello sun, wishing us goodbye on our last day. This is the view we come up here for! Thanks Jarrad and Monica for joining us, it was great to catch up with friends :)
