Oct 7 Bob's Bar

Oct 7, 2014

It is with sadness and happiness that we say goodbye to our work buddy, Lucy Pam, as she leaves for her new life in the Florida Keys. Leslie, Al, Lucy and Adam.

She has a new name for my bump everyday. What will it be next?

Andy, Lucy and Steve.

Mt Carmel West side crew Steve, me, Med, Lucy, Andy, Lesley and Mo.

Melissa imitating Cher.

Lucy imitating whoever is next to Tom Selleck.

OK, now the night is complete. Lucy table dancing. Notice the low clearance at our favorite dive bar!?! I told Lucy I am not saying goodbye, hope she doesn't mind the little pumpkin and I crashing at her place on Big Pine Key…see you again soon my friend.

Oct 3-5 Autumn Tour of Door County

Oct 3-5, 2014

While Jarrad and Ryan golfed, Monica and I did a little driving tour de Door County. One of our first stops was Anderson's dock in Ephraim.

Cider Tasting in Ellison Bay, YUM!

Eagle Bluff Lighthouse within Peninsula State Park.

Oh! Is that the sun I see peaking?

View from Eagle Tower looking north 250 feet above Green Bay.

Eagle Tower was originally built in 1914, rebuilt in the 1930's and stands 75 feet tall. It was chilly and windy at the top! Brrr!

Another brief view of that lovely sun setting at Sunset Point in Fish Creek.

Goodnight sun.

Traditional fish boil at White Gull Inn in Fish Creek.

Now that's a fire!

Taking out the potatoes and whitefish, but Ryan asks, where are the onions?

I skipped some football watching at the house for a hike on a new trail and found this spiky guy up in a tree. A porcupine.

Fall wildflower.

Some cool-looking organism growing on a downed tree. After about 30 minutes I gave up because it kept raining harder and my feet were soaked. Back indoors to warm up and dry off :)

Oh hello sun, wishing us goodbye on our last day. This is the view we come up here for! Thanks Jarrad and Monica for joining us, it was great to catch up with friends :)

Sept 29-Oct 3 Packers!

Sept 29-Oct 3, 2014

Nissan came through at the last minute and our new lease is ready for us on the morning of our road trip to Wisconsin for the week! Thanks Travis again for sharing your employee benefits with your big sis.

The sunny autumn drive yesterday went quick with a pit stop in Chicago for some yummy pizza, but gave way to a week of chilly temps, clouds and rain. At least we get to look at the beach…and we are off work!

Evening bonfire.

Tailgaiting for the Packers v Minnesota game at Lambeau in Green Bay. Check out the cheese bra!

More Green Bay characters. This is my first pro football game, so I don't have much to compare it to, but this little city parties like college students!

Our crew, Monica, me, Ryan and Jarrad with the sausages.

Braving a little rain before game time.

This guy was way drunk by this point and had no interest in letting us go.

On our way in with most of the city of Green Bay.

Lambeau leap!

Even horses come to watch football in Green Bay.

NFL supports breast cancer awareness month. Waving the flag for you Tina! We had great seats and watched the Packers put a serious beating on Minnesota.

Sept 13-15 Autumn in Ohio

Sept 13-15, 2014

Beautiful morning for a walk along the Olentangy River.

One of our work friends, Mark, took Ryan on a Lake Erie sail to Put-In-Bay.

Sept 12 Our Anniversary plus One

Sept 11, 2014

We celebrated a day early due to our weekend work schedule. Our typical anniversary…we went for a long bike ride and enjoyed dinner at Barcelona's beautiful patio down in German Village.
Happy 5 years love!
And...here are the first pics of our little one, due to make its debut in late January.

Hello!

It's little face :) Looking forward to meeting you face to face next year!

Sept 5-7 Detroit Visit

Sept 5-7, 2014

I haven't been up in Detroit since late spring, I was jones-ing for a visit back home!

After a great breakfast and nice visit, we toured the progress on my friend, Melissa's new home.

Leah and I enjoying a happy hour CocoLoco sans rum.

Ceci and her friend Claire at their daycare open house. A train took kids on rides around the facility.

Olivia and I at Arts and Apples in Rochester (with the Tin Man). Photos courtesy of Aunt Cindy.

Some of the photos at this exhibit are from Hocking Hills, Ohio.

Debating on which cow print to buy for the Wisconsin place...

And here it is…a colorful cow on the dune grass by the lake. Perfect!

Such a nice day for Lila and Nolan's 4th and 6th birthday party.

There were lots of kiddos and it was nice catching up with friends and family.

Aug 14-24 Buddy Guy and Boating

Aug 14-24, 2014

Ryan, Kevin, Jenna and I went to see Buddy Guy. He was very entertaining and interactive with the audience. It was a fun way to spend the evening.

Some friends for work, Justin, Lisa, Nate and Sarah joined Ryan and I for our boat's native and only voyage this summer out on Alum Creek. It was a hot day, perfect for being out on the water. Why did we only get the boat out once this year?
